Now that MSN search has tainted its look and search outcome I thought Id do a little digging into the new look to see what I could come up with.
commonly I am impressed with the new look even if the modern outcome arent that spectacular.
But is the new MSN sincerely that greatly better?

As youve already no misfaith heard, MSN seek has tainted their look. But theres more to this new look than meets the eye.
Ive forever been apprehensive about with MSN seek. Its not because the outcome are commonly minus important than other engines (though thats forever been part of the poser) but Ive never sincerely liked the search outcome.
To me they were forever too crowded and bleak.
But now that theres a new search interface I feel more liable to use their search engine.
Why, you may ask?
For one thing, I could never sincerely put my name on what it was that concerned me about it awaiting MSN tainted the look. I think it was the desolate bars that worn to run across the top and base of the search outcome page.
Now, instead of expansive desolate bars there are smooth silver-grey bars.
Also, the top bar where the search box is became narrower. To me this makes the page look minus bunged in and more visually appealing. I now feel as if I can faith the outcome more because they have more extent.
Ive also noticed that MSN has been live with the pageant of the deeds. Before this change, they looked to bold the complete deed, as well as bolding provisos which reached the search query in the morsel.
Now, they still bold provisos reaching the query in the morsel but they also only bold the search time reaches in the deed. Additionally, the font worn for both the deed and morsel are slighter.
These help to produce a more visually appealing search product making it easier to pimple the best reach to what you are looking for.
You see as humans, we like to take the relaxed way out. Most of us are skim and click search engine users. We skim the outcome hopeful something will shoot out at us. This is how Google became so prevalent because they realized early on that we like visual cues to help conduct us on the web.
MSN tried this for a while I found examples of it dating back to 2004, but most lately even as topical as a few time ago there was no bolding on reached provisos.
When you look at the sponsored outcome you will see even more differences.
While looking at searches executeed in Firefox, I thought Id execute those same searches in Internet surveyor. Heres where gear got interesting.
While the organic outcome were the same, some gear trapped my eye. First, the sponsored ads seem greatly slighter in Firefox than IE. The font dimension worn to pageant the top and bank sponsored ads is slighter than the organic outcome. In IE they are the same.
Also, in Firefox I was since Yahoo! sponsored outcome, however in IE I was since Microsoft Sponsored outcome.
Thats right, I was since different sponsored outcome providers depending on the browser I was with.
Even the plan of the sponsored ads was different. With Firefox and the Yahoo! ads, the top sponsored stretched across the page and the bank sponsored ongoing at the same line as the organic product, creating a literally large bemused pimple in the better right hand spot of the page.
However on the IE browser with MSN ads, that bemused plot disseemed and the bank sponsored ads stirred up to be in line with the top sponsored outcome. It made the page look greatly more orderly.
I looked into the CSS and JavaScripts being executed on the page to see if perhaps they were burden some kind of browser detection before rendering the page but I didnt see something other than some grace modifications for IE on Mac.
Of course, this is still early in the pastime for the new MSN look. I suppose they will last to modify and refine it awaiting its just right. As a product, if you do try the same ordeals I did (with a bank by bank browser ordeal) you may not see the same outcome.
In the end I do have to say, outcome abank, the new look is more visually appealing and at slightest for me makes it easier to accept the outcome. I dont feel overwhelmed because of the previously small plot vacant.
